THE CULTURE OF BOOING IS NOT OUR CULTURE

Image
*THE CULTURE OF BOOING IS NOT OUR CULTURE* The Ghanaian culture is one of the enviable cultures in the world. Been it the Akan Culture, the Northern Culture, the western Culture and what have you.  Our culture has never taught us to disrespectful or rebellious against authorities, again our rich cultures  does not teach us to reprimand the elderly in public  Our culture is one that teaches us to respect authorities even if we disagree with them . Our culture has always taught us to follow due processes and for that matter those so called sponsored youth had no reason or so ever to do what they did.  The dangerous part of this whole booing incident is the political support it has received from the desperate opposition NDC in a way to score cheap political points.  Isn't it surprising for the NDC party who wants us to believe it was not behind that scandalous act seen  defending  those  sponsored youths at all level as if Ghanaians do not know how they operate. Quoting their commun

Today marks exactly 14 years of the death of an illustrious son of Ghana. 🇬🇭 Hon. Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu was a Ghanaian politician and a Chartered Accountant. He was a Member of Parliament for Asante-Akyem North constituency between January 1997 until his untimely death on September 24, 2008. He served as a Minister of state at different ministries under the Kufuor government from 2001. These ministries include; Local Government and Rural Development, Youth and Sports as well as Finance.  In 2005, he became the first Finance Minister in Ghana's history to present the country's Budget Statement and Economic Policy to Parliament before the arrival of that fiscal year with his budget for the fiscal year 2006. Since then, this has become a norm for all successive Finance Ministers. He died in South Africa where he was receiving treatment at age 56. May his soul rest in peace.

DR BAWUMIA'S DIGITIZATION JOURNEY, SO FAR SO GOOD

Image
The Vice President of Ghana Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia a renounced economist and Digitization advocate has over the years trumpeted the need for African countries to embrace Digitization as a key  to leapfrogging the advanced countries.  The Vice President position on digitization has been mocked by the opposition NDC as they say the Vice President is running from the economy to hide behind digitization. The opposition has downplayed the connection between Digitization and the economy. According to the Vice President there is no way we can get a strong economy without digitization, How could the government increase revenue at the port without digitization (Paperless Port) , how could could ghost names be expunged from the government payroll without digitization, how could the economy grow without a proper addressing system, how could healthcare reach our remote areas without digitization (Drone delivery system), how could we get a strong banking sector without digitization , how could Ghan

HON. YAW DANSO IS BEREAVED

Image
The sad news coming in from Asiwa the capital of Bosome Freho District in the Ashanti region indicates that, the Wife of  Hon. Yaw Danso DCE of the area has kicked the bucket. It is however, unclear the what killed her .  Close Sources to the DCE  says  the  death of her wife has some level of spiritual connotation attached to it. Others are also linking her dismissed to the public pronouncement made  by her husband Hon. Yaw Danso which resulted in a public uproar in the District. We will recall not too long ago the DCE , Hon. Yaw Danso declared himself dead when the people in the area complained they do not  see him in the District. Could the death of her wife has any connections to that pronouncement ? As the Bible says words are powerful so we should be very mindful of what we say at a particular time.  Before I conclude, I would like to send my deepest condolences to  Hon Yaw Danso and the people of Bosome Freho District.

DKC POLITICS

*MIKE OQUAYE JNR'S 3RD BID WILL THE ANCHOR ⚓🔱⚓🔱 HOLD* ? Dome Kwabenya has been in the news for negative  reasons since the last couple of months.  The absence of the Sitting Member of Parliament , Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo, amidst the passage of the controversial E-levy aroused a lot of concern with key NPP figures playing a role in the bushing of the MP, some of whom were calling for by-elections others expercially the NDC , Empathizing with her something which should have  sent a strong message to our party . For the NDC to support Adwoa Safo isn't something normal in our politics. In all these the biggest beneficiary seems to be the Son of the former Speaker of Parliament , Mike OQUAYE JNR , as he seeks to take advantage of the absence of the MP ,  he has  allegedly sponsored hate speech , organized    demonstrations against the MP, sponsored Media programs and the latest one is the deliberate removal and suspension of known  sympathizers of the MP
