HON ALAN KYEREMANTENG SHOULD OWN UP AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS UNFORTUNATE AND DELIBERATE STATEMENT

 


Delegates are very disappointed and overwhelmed by the unfortunate statement made by Chief Alan on his campaign tour as they say it is deliberate and a well rehearsed campaign strategy by Mr. Kyeremanteng.


" *Worsening economy under Nana Addo making it difficult for NPP to craft 2024 campaign message" this was the statement made by Chief Alan , someone who is seeking the mandate of the delegates to lead the party.* 


Hon. Alan kyeremanteng in his desperate attempt to lead the party has taken up the challenge to do a pro bono for the NDC by talking down the achievements of the Nana Addo/Bawumia government anytime he gets opportunity to talk to delegates all targeted at  discrediting the highly Innovative Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia.


Surprisingly , this isn't the first time Chief Alan is running down the Akufo Addo /Bawumia government so it can not be a mistake or miscommunication. In his address to the country after his resignation we  will all recall he made similar and even a more dangerous and outrageous statement to downplay the achievements of the Akufo Addo/Bawumia government as if he wasn't part of it.


Another important thing I would want to draw the attention of delegates  is the inability of Chief Alan to take responsibility for his statements. We have heard and seen supporters of Mr. Alan kyeremanteng trying very hard to dissociate him from the statement even when he isn't ready to deny same. This raises questions on the leadership traits of  Mr. Alan kyeremanteng  ie. he lacks courage to admit and also lacks the courage to take responsibility when things goes wrong. For the 2nd time  in just 2months Mr. Alan kyeremanteng has made two unpopular comment and has sadly and deliberately refused to take responsibility for those statements.


I am at this point by this piece edging Mr. Alan kyeremanteng to for once own  up to his unpopular statement and  at least render an unqualified apology to the President and his Vice and the party at large. 


Also going forward, Mr. Kyeremanteng to call all his supporters to order and task them to be decorous in their communications. 

What Mr. Kyeremanteng and his supporters should also know is that, if the government fails non of the candidates including Alan kyeremanteng and Dr. Bawumia  will survive 2024 elections whether they were directly involved in governance or not so it is very important for every member of the party irrespective of the candidate you support to be Circumspect in our utterances.
