Majority chief whip , Hon Annoh- Dompreh came out in a  widely trending video to expose the dishonesty of the camp of Hon. Alan kyeremanten on their deliberate  attempt to tag the Vice President , Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia to the country's current economic predicament as a basis to make a case of competence for Hon. Alan kyeremanten to make it look like the Veep was in charge of the economy as the Head of the Economic Management Team and Alan kyeremanten as an ordinary member/observer and that he  couldn't have taken any major decisions. Weeks after exposing the dishonesty of Hon. Alan kyeremanten, his camp has come out to throw a challenge to the Hon majority chief whip, Hon. ANNOH- Dompreh to provide the list of membership of the Economic Committee of cabinet I quote " *First and foremost w

  Those of us trying to make a case for Hon. Alan kyeremanten and making it look as if Dr. Bawumia was in charge of the government and Chief Alan was just an observer should kindly get this clear. Chief Alan was the chairman of the Economic Committee of the cabinet. A position he held for 6 years before his resignation. The distinction between the Economic committee of the cabinet and the Economic Management Team is very clear and concise.   Cabinet and its committees ie. The Economic Committee of the cabinet is a creation of the constitution (article 76) meaning no government can do without that it will be in breach of the constitution. The EMT is not a creation of the constitution but a cabinet, in, fact future governments can decide to dissolve the EMT. To put it, EMT is a subset of Cabinet. Economic Committees of Cabinet are restricted to only Members of the cabinet. And membership of the Cabinet is restricted to not more than 19 Ministers of State. EMT has no constitutional limita

 * One of the most important events on the calendar of the New Patriotic Party is the Presidential primaries. The contest is anticipated to be an interesting contest between Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Hon. Alan kyeremanten and Hon. Kennedy Agyapong as a 3rd force. This write-up exposes the dishonesty and double standards of Hon. Alan kyeremanten going into the contest.  Mr. Alan kyeremanten has unfortunately made it his campaign strategy to lambast the government by indirectly taking a swipe at Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia his main contender.  Hon. Alan kyeremanten has openly blamed his inability to craft a message on the government.   Delegates are very disappointed and overwhelmed by the unfortunate statement made by Chief Alan on his campaign tour as they say it is deliberate and a well rehearsed campaign strategy by Mr. Kyeremanteng. We woke up to see pictures of Hon. Alan kyeremanteng in Manhyia palace where the Ashantihemaa was seen giving her blessings to Hon. Alan kyeremanteng. So I asked myself one question ,that, what is so special about that picture that has gotten the few supporters of Hon. Alan kyeremanteng brandishing the particular picture on virtually all social media platforms.  I asked again could that be the final verdict of the flagbearer ship elections?  The interesting part of the whole thing is that Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has equally gotten the same blessings from the Ashantihemaa so that of Hon.
